Death of Mr. J. A. Kirby

Camden, Aug 14. – Mr. J. A. Kirby, a well known a well known farmer, who lives a few miles below Camden, died this morning, after a few days’ illness. Deceased was a young man, and leaves a widow and two small children.

Mr. Leo Schenk returned today from a trip to Pawley’s island.

A Bereaved Family.

Camden, Aug. 16. – The Kirby family is certainly unfortunate. While the remains of Mr. J. A. Kirby were being buried yesterday in Camden, Kershaw, South Carolina, USA in Quaker Cemetery, one of his two little children died. The child had only been sick about two days.

The county campaign closed yesterday with speaking in Camden. A large crowd was in attendance.
