Camden, Aug. 16. – The Kirby family is certainly unfortunate. While the remains of Mr. J. A. Kirby were being buried yesterday, in Camden, Kershaw, South Carolina, USA in Quaker Cemetery, one of his two little children died. The child had only been sick about two days.

The county campaign closed yesterday with speaking in Camden. A large crowd was in attendance.
