Bethune, August 23. – Mrs. Nellie Waters, a highly respected woman who lived about two miles below Bethune, died Saturday afternoon, April 21, 1915. She was stricken with paralysis about a week ago, and remained in a semi-conscious condition until she died. Mrs. Waters’ was about 70 years of age and had lived in this vicinity all her life. She leaves three sons, L. M. Waters, J. W. Waters and T. E. Waters and one daughter, Mrs. Tillman Jordan. The funeral service and burial were held yesterday afternoon, August 22, 1915, at 5 o’clock at the Brannon Graveyard, conducted by the Rev. J. M. Forbis.
