Camden, August 22, 1913 – Mrs. Rebecca L. Salmond, who died at her home in Kirkwood yesterday morning, August 21, 1913, was buried at the Quaker cemetery this morning at 10 o’clock, the funeral services being preached at Grace Episcopal church.
Mrs. Salmond’s health has been poor for several months and her death did not come as a surprise.
Mrs. Salmond was before her marriage Miss Valk of Charleston. She married Henry C. Salmond of this city, who died several years ago. She enjoyed a wide circle of friends and is survived by relatives in Camden and Charleston.
The following children survive: Mrs. T. A. Porter, formerly of Charleston, now of Camden; W. C. Salmond of New York, Edward A Salmond of Charlestown, W. Va., the Rev. Henry Salmond of Kentucky and C. V. Salmond of Columbia.
