ELGIN – Graveside service for Jim Carroll Peake, 59, will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smyrna United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 66, Elgin, S.C.  29045.

    Mr. Peake passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Jimmy Peake and Grace Carolyn Bowen Peake.  He enjoyed hunting and drag racing.

    Surviving are his sister, Gwen Henderson (Don); brother, William “Billy” Peake (Cheri); and niece, Holly Henderson.
