Thomas George Baliotis, 71, died Sunday.

Born in Manchester, N.H., he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Baliotis. A World War II Army Veterans in the European Theatre, he was a member of American Legion Post 17.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Effie Branham Baliotis; a daughter, Mrs. Steve (Linda) Barnstead of Lugoff; a sister, Mrs. Emily Kalogeris of Winthrop, Mass.; and brothers, Louis Baliotis of Lynn, Mass., and Alec Baliotis of Salem, Mass.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff- Elgin Chapel with burial in Branham Cemetery at Smyrna United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
