Robert Eugene Freeman

ELGIN- Services for Robert Eugene Freeman, 72, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel.

Mr. Freeman died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1992. Born in Aurora, Ill., he was a son of the late John P. Freeman and Minnie Klabundie. A Marine Corps veteran, he retired as a representative for Omni Glass and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy English Freeman; a son, John Freeman of Bealton, Va.; a daughter, Victoria Freeman of Elgin; a sister, Vivian Plaugh of West Columbia; and three grandchildren.
