BLANEY, S. C., Sept. 3. – The formal opening of the Blaney school will be held Thursday evening of this week, when a reception will be tendered the teachers from 8 o’clock to 8:30 o’clock by the School. Improvement association, after which Governor John G. Richards will deliver an address.

The school will be open on Thursday and Friday for registration and enrollment. Supt. Leonard (illegible) states that it is important (illegible) the new pupils (illegible) even if they cannot (illegible) school regularly (illegible).
