Miss Sonya K. Geddings

Miss Sonya Kay Gedding, 21, of 108 Gordon Drive, died Saturday from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

A daughter of W. Belton Geddings and Mrs. Brenda Nelson Mims, she was a member of North Trenholm Baptist Church and a former employee of the First National Bank in Columbia.

Surviving are her mother and step-father, Bob Mims, of Columbia; her father and stepmother of Sumter; sisters, Mrs. Cheryl A. Conte and Mrs. Sandra Y. Evans of Columbia; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie B. Nelson of Columbia; and her maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Bernice Nelson of Elgin.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. today in Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery, Elgin, conducted by the Rev. Wilson Nelson.

Talbert-Shives Funeral Home is in charge.
