Mrs. Nettles

LUGOFF – Miss Rose Marie Hearon became the bride of Irby Joel Nettles at 7 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church. The Rev. Lance Bradley officiated and a reception followed in the Fellowship Hall of the church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hearon of Lugoff. She was graduated from Lugoff-Elgin High School and listed in Who’s Who among High School Students. She is employed by Hewitt-Robins, Columbia.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Vernon Nettles (Pearl E Goff Nettles) of Elgin. He was graduated from Blaney High School and is employed by Dupont.

After a wedding trip to the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee the couple will live in Elgin.
