Funeral services for Mrs. David Walter Atkerson will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Harmony Baptist Church, conducted by the Reverend Mr. H. T. McNeil, the Reverend Mr. John D. Atkerson and the Reverend Mr. Jimmy Atkerson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The casket will be placed in the church an hour prior to services.

Pallbearers will be Elton V. Kelly, William B. Stockman, D. E. Miles, James McKay, Floyd Branham and E. Albert Shumpert.
Mrs. Atkerson, 85, of Rt. 1, Elgin, the former Bessie Parker, died yesterday in a local nursing home.
She was born in Kershaw County, a daughter of the lake Willie Parker in Emma Pittman Parker. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Surviving or two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Branham of Elgin and Mrs. Daisy Miles of Columbia.

Mrs. Bessie Parker Atkerson, 85, of Rt. 1, Elgin, widow of David Walter Atkerson, died Tuesday in Forest Hills Nursing Home.
Mrs. Atkerson was born in Kershaw County, a daughter of the late Willie Parker and Emma Pittman Parker. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Surviving or two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Branham of Elgin and Mrs. Daisy Miles of Columbia.
Services will be in Harmony Baptist Church Thursday at 11 AM conducted by the Reverend H. T. McNeil, the Reverend John D. Atkerson and the Reverend Jimmy Atkerson.
