Obituary

Diane V. Smith  was born on January 4, 1949, in Accomack County, Virginia, to the late Georgia Savage and John Savage.  Diane attended the public schools of Accomack County and graduated from Accomack County High School in 1968.

She was married to Johnnie Smith, Sr. in 1970.  Their bond brought forth three children.  Diane was employed by Kershaw County Child Care from which she retired.
 
She was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Smith and one brother, Jesse Savage.
 
Diane leaves to mourn her sad passing, her husband of fifty-one years, Reverend Johnnie Smith, Sr.; a daughter, Mary Smith; and a son, Johnnie “Bug” Smith, Jr.; her grandchildren, Marquis Smith, Kason Smith, Jessica Greene and Tyler Smith; her great-grand child; she raised two children, Shamika Boston and Shalisa Boston; one brother, John William Savage; and one sister, Daisey Davis and many other brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
