Jan. 26: Elgin Idol first round begins at 10 a.m.; opening centennial ceremonies at noon; both at Stover Middle

Feb. 23: “For the Love of Blaney,” a patriotic tribute to Kershaw County veterans

March 22: Community Easter Egg Hunt and Festival of Choirs

April 19: All-day centennial celebration with a parade, Elgin Idol selection, all-day entertainment, closing ceremonies with fireworks and the release of 100 balloons
