Eddie Ross

ELGIN – Service for Eddie Ernest Ross, 83, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 1998, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, with burial in Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. Pastor Otto Lockner of the United Church of God will officiate, The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Springdale Village, 146 Battleship Rd., Camden, 29020.

Mr. Ross died Monday, January 5, 1998. Born in Blaney, he was the son of the late Fleming Ross and Eunice Nelson Ross. He was a farmer and former owner of Ross Trucking Company. He was a member of the World Wide Church of God.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred Allee Goff Ross; daughter, Idalee Motley and Carolyn Ross Fortner, both of Elgin; son, Paul E. Ross of Elgin; Brother, Jay L. Ross, and halfbrother, Flem Ross, both of Elgin; six granddaughters; and four great-grandson. He was predeceased by a daughter, Angela Diane Ross.
