COLUMBIA – Services for Bessie Roberson Anderson will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Good Aim Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at 6 tonight at Palmer Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Anderson died Tuesday. Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Adolphus Roberson and Emma Roberson.
Surviving are daughters, Mae H. Gibbs and Yvonne Samuels, Mildred Hudson; son, Samuel Kelly; adopted son, Rev Arnold L. Williams; sisters, Hattie Simon, Cora Qualls, Geneva Geiger, Annie Bell Thomas, Lillian Reed, Naomi Morant, Claudia Roberson; brothers, William Roberson, Rev. J. C. Roberson, Rev J. H. Roberson.
