CAYCE, Jan. 2. – W. F. Graham of Conway and sister, Miss Dorothy Graham of Washington, D. C., were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Allen of last week.
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Drakeford and children spent Christmas with Mrs. Drakeford’s mother, Mrs. Sanders, in Blaney.
Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Butler and daughter, Bettie, have returned from a visit to relatives in Wilmington, N. C.
Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Rozier had as their guest for several days last week, the former’s sister, Miss Bessie Rozier of Bethune.
Mrs. C. B. Harrison and children Sara and Carter B. have been visiting relative in Savannah, Ga., the past week.
Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Wolfe spent the Christmas holidays with relatives in Cameron.
Mrs. J. S. Lorick and Miss Caroline LLewter have returned from Tampa, Fla., where they have been visiting Mrs. Lorick’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Pettigrew.
Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Cayce and Mrs. S. K. Abbott were visitors in Batesburg Thursday.
Norris Spradley of Gaston is spending the week with his cousins Edward and Harrison Goodwin.
Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Joyner and Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Rucker and daughter, Nora Ellen, are visiting relatives in Bamberg, Ehrhardt and Lodge during the week-end.
Mr. and Mrs. George Hobbs spent last week-end in Lexington as the guests of Mr. Hobb’s mother.
Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Blackley visited relatives in Raleigh, N. C., during the holidays.
Mrs. May Johnson had as her guest during the past week, Mrs. A. C. Smith and little grandson Billie Tarver of Savannah, Ga., Mrs. Henry Morris and daughter, Helen of Olar, Mrs. D. O. Sayne of Augusta, Ga., and Mrs. Bennie Moore of Bamberg.
Mrs. S. K. Abbott delightfully entertained the younger set with a New Year’s party at her home Tuesday evening. Games and contests were played during the evening and those winning prizes in the contests were, Miss Margaret McKellar, Pringle Mason and Andrew Davis. Refreshments were served to about 35 guests.
Mrs. Lila Mae Williams of Columbia, spent Christmas day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Clippard.
Mrs. S. R. Addy, Mrs. Henry Addy and daughter, Henrietta, were guests of Mrs. Lilly Addy in Leesville Friday.
