A funeral service for Dwight Emil Eckert, 72, will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 31, 2022 at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, 1301 Mill Street, Camden, SC.  Rev. Roy Butler will officiate.  Burial will follow at Quaker Cemetery, 713 Meeting Street, Camden, SC.  The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM on Monday, January 31, 2022 at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church.

Dwight passed away Friday, January 28, 2022.  He was the son of the late Emil Henry Eckert and Maggie Amanda Klepzig Eckert.

In addition to his parents, Dwight was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Leon Black.

Surviving are his sister, Martha Black of Camden; brother Harold Ryder of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
