Obituary of Christine Burroughs Mason

CAMDEN – A memorial service for Christine Burroughs Mason, 70, will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at DeKalb Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. 

    Mrs. Mason passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022.  Born in Greenville, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Robert Cothran Burroughs and Mattie Lee Green. 

    Surviving is her husband, Kenneth Lynn Mason; children, Johnny Hill (Tonya), Wesley Hill, and Sonya League (David); grandchildren, Reagan League, Emma League, Abbey League, Sean David League, Carson Hill, Cassidy Hill and Bryson Hill; siblings, Bobbie Goodman (Jack), Robert Burroughs, Debbie Broome, Marc Burroughs (Donna), and Ruth Aiken. She was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Juanita Rice (Alvin), sister-in-law, Kathy Burroughs; and brother-in-law, Dave Aiken.
