E. M. Atkerson, farmer, residing near Pontiac, died at his home there late Saturday night in his 76th year. Mr. Atkerson was a popular citizen of Richland county and has many friends who are saddened because of his death.

Funeral services will be conducted at Smyrna church at 11 o’clock today.
