The Rev. Willie S. Cromer, pastor of the the Duke Street Baptist Church in Ninety-six for the past eight years, a native of West Columbia, has reigned to accept the pastorate of the Westminster Baptist Church at Westminster.

The Rev. Mr. Cromer attended the public school of West Columbia, the University of South Carolina from which he was graduated and he hold theological degrees from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary at Louisville, Ky, and from Erskine Theological seminary at Due West.

Before going to Ninety-Six he served as pastor of the Blaney and Union Baptist churches at Blaney.

During his pastorate at the Ninety-Six church more than 300 members have been added to the church and considerable progress was made in other activities of the church.

The Westminster church is one of the leading churches in the Beaverdam association. It has a membership of more than 600 members.

Mr. Cromer will assume the pastorate of the Westminster church next week.
