ELGIN – Services for Dalton Eugene Medlin, 76, of 450 Spears Creek Road will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Talbert-Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Creek Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Talbert-Shives Funeral Home.
Mr. Medlin died Friday, March 6, 1992. Born in Blaney, he was a son of the late John Ellisor and Mary Medlin Ellisor. He retired from Springs Mills and was a member of Capital City Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Leonard Medlin of Lugoff; daughters, Jo Ann Austin and Mary Lovett, both of Cayce; stepsons, Robert Sessions of Pontiac and Otis Sessions of Elgin; a stepdaughter, Betty Black of Columbia; sisters, Ola Livingston and Namie Wooten, both of Columbia, and Edna Watts of Elgin; grandchildren; and great-granchildren.
