Obituary of Gregory Guy Maness

COLUMBIA – A graveside service for Gregory Guy Maness, 58, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Keith Hinson will officiate. In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to South Carolina Mental Health.

    Gregory passed away Tuesday, March 08, 2022. Born on April 8, 1963 in Oklahoma City, OK, he was a son of the late George Franklin Maness and Mildred Hinson Maness.

    Surviving are his siblings, George Alan Maness (Kathy) of Pooler, GA, Brian F. Maness of Columbia, Pamela Lynn Maness (DeDee) of Leesville; nephews, Ron Sowell (Chasity), Brad Sowell (Pamela); niece, Cori Reeves (Will); and 6 great-nieces and nephews.

    The family extends a special thanks to the staff and fellow residents at the Dixon Center in Elgin, S.C.
