BLANEY, S. C., March 2, – Earl Simpson has returned to Lexington after visiting his sister, Mrs. Mary Simpson.

Miss Mable Peterson spent last week-end at Columbia College.

Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Rose and children of Charleston, are spending sometime here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John I. Rose (Ada Cornelia Evans Rose).

Mrs. Charlotte Ross Goff, of Florence, is spending this week here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse T. Ross (Nancy Elizabeth Goff Ross).

Little Miss Elaine Ross, of New Brookland, is here this week as the guest of her aunt, Miss Lillie Belle Evans.

Miss Esther Anderson, of Ridgeway, was the guest Sunday of Misses Lila Sanders and Ruby Sanders.

Leonardo Andrea was the monthly speaker Sunday for the Men’s Bible Class at the Baptist Church in New Brookland.

The friends of Earl H. Bowen regret to know that he continues to be quite ill at the Columbia hospital.

Miss Mildred Evans, of Chicora College, was the guest for the week-end of her father, Lawrence D. Evans, and he accompanied her Sunday to a dinner given in New Brookland by his daughter, Mrs. E. H. Ross, in honor of his 62nd birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscard Anderson, of Ridgeway, were guests last week-end of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Sanders.

Mr. and Mrs. Knowlton Motley and son Fletcher Motley, have returned to their home at Patrick, after visiting his father, J. G. Motley.

The School Improvement association met in monthly session Thursday evening in the school auditorium. A group of girls from the 6th and 7th grades dave a number of songs, followed by a business meeting. The feature of the Program was an address by Lieut Gov. Thomas B,. Butler, of Gaffney.
