The Ridgeway Garden club held its regular meeting on February 28, at the home of Mrs. E. T. Bowen, in Blaney, Mrs. J. W. Starnes, Mrs. D. W. Ruff, Jr., Mrs. N. Z. Crumpton, Mrs. William Hartin, Mrs. Charles Emanuel, Mrs. W. C. Edmunds and Mrs. N. C. Berry were were co-hostesses.

Mrs. J. B. McInerny, guest speaker, brought some delightful ideas and suggestions on foliage arrangement and made several lovely arrangements emphasizing the rules of design.

During the business session, the spring flower show was discussed. Mrs. R. P. Ogburn announced that the theme of the show would be “Spring Splendor,” It is to be held on March 27 with Mrs. L. H. Lachicote of Columbia as judge.

The nominating committee presented the following slate of officers for the new year: Mrs. M. C. Collins, Jr., president; Mrs. P. R. Scott, vice-president; Mrs. R. P. Ogburn, secretary; Mrs. R. W. Hudson, treasurer; Mrs. M. C. Collins, III, Chaplain and Mrs. J. H. Smith, historian. They were voted on and accepted by the club.

The hostesses served delicious refreshments at the conclusion of the meeting.
