Frank Fletcher, Sr. Obituary

Frank L. Fletcher, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Saturday March 12, 2022 in Camden, South Carolina. Frank was born July 29, 1950 in Kershaw County, South Carolina to Mary Fletcher Brevard and the late Arthur J. Fletcher.

Frank was educated in Kershaw County Public Schools and joined the United States Army in 1969. After an honorable discharge, he move to Washington, DC and return home many years later. He worked for Wateree Textile until their closing and played on the baseball team.

Frank was a faithful usher and member of Bingham Chapel AME Zion Church.

Those left to celebrate his life and cherish his memories include: three sons, Frank (Lisa) Fletcher, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, Alexis (Krissy) Fletcher of Zanesville, Ohio and Christopher Simpson Fletcher of Miami, Florida; his mother, Mary Fletcher Brevard; two brothers, James “Pim” Fletcher and Gerald “Short-man” Fletcher of Camden, South Carolina; two sisters, Beverly Brevard of Camden, South Carolina and Dorrie Brevard of Acworth, Georgia. Three grandsons, Frank Fletcher III, AJ Fletcher, Kasen Fletcher of Ohio; two granddaughters, Raven Bennett of North Carolina and Jasmine Fletcher of Ohio; four nieces, five nephews; and a host of cousins, other family members and friends.
