ELGIN – Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Catherine Davis, 64, will be held Sunday in Kornegay Funeral Home with burial in the Kirkland family cemetery in Elgin.

Mrs. Davis died Thursday in a Florence Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Orangeburg County, she was a daughter of the late Catherine Middleton and Richard F. Proveaux. She was the wife of the late Paul Davis.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Paul Kirkland Sr., of Elgin; a brother, Herbert F. Proveaux of Columbia; and a half-brother, Lance Bradley of West Columbia.
