The high schools of the state which are to meet in the high school debates will hold preliminaries early in April. The State has been divided into three districts. The following schedule has been so arranged as to have each affirmative team debate at home.
District No. 1
Winnsboro vs. Chester; Rock Hill vs Fort Mill; York vs. Clover; Blacksburg vs. Gaffney; Newberry vs. Laurens; Union vs. Spartanburg High; Jonesville vs. Cedar Springs; Hastoc vs. Wofford Fitting school; Cowpens vs. Woodruff; McCormick vs. Greenwood; Abbeville vs. Due West, Anderson vs. Greenville, Easley vs. Liberty; Iva vs. Honea Path, Foutain Inn vs. Piedmont; Walhalla vs. Seneca.
District No. 2
Epworth Orphanage vs. Hyatt Park; Blythewood vs. Blaney; Columbia vs. Camden; Kershaw vs. Heath Springs; Chesterfield vs. Cheraw; Bennettsville vs. McColl; Clio vs. Latta; Dillon vs. Mullins; Hemingway vs. Conway; Kingstree vs. Georgetown; Florence vs. Timmonsville; Hartsville vs. Sumter; Pinewood vs. Eutawville.
District No. 3
Fort Motte vs. St. Matthews; New Brooklyn vs. North; Lexington vs. Leesville; Batesburg vs. Edgefield; Orangeburg vs. Branchville; Barnwell vs. Estill; Hampton vs. Walterboro; Ridgeland vs. Beaufort; St. George vs. Summerville.
