Funeral services for Jerry Fortune Toms will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 4, 2022, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, 1112 Fair Street, Camden, SC 29020.  Rev. Phillip P. Gerrald will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 1202 Broad Street, Camden, SC 29020.

Jerry, son of the late Ulysses Miller Toms and Mayo Fortune Toms, died on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.

Jerry is survived by his daughters, Linda Wall (Ted Westmoreland), of Camden, Sylvia Toms of Camden; grandchildren, Jerry Benjamin Wall (Crystal) of Camden, Emily Ann Jones (Nicolas) of Lugoff; great-grandchildren Kayla Wall, Dylan Jones and Chris Morrow; niece Barbara Arnista of Connecticut; and nephew Richard Cosgrove, Jr. of Connecticut.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his wife, Emma Adair Toms and sister Patricia Toms Cosgrove.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
