A memorial service for William Fredrick Dibean, 71, will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Kornegay Funeral Home, 1112 Fair Street, Camden, SC 29020.   Memorials may be made to Epworth Children’s Home, 2900 Millwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29205.

William, the son of the late Walter Fredrick Dibean and Pauline Littler Dibean, died on Sunday, May 1, 2022. William was a Vietnam Veteran, having served with the United States Marine Corps, and retired from the United States Navy.

William is survived by his daughter, Cristie Lavergne (Robert) of Cassatt; son David Allen Dibean of Liberty Hill, TX; grandchildren David Allen Fredrick Dibean, Crista Ulmer, Alyssa Lavergne, and Gabrielle Lavergne; great-grandchildren Marlee Grace McLean and Peyton James Davis, and two sisters.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
