Obituary of Dollie McCaa Joyner

Dollie McCaa Joyner, 85, of Camden, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Blaney, SC, on October 18, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Willie McCaa and Leila Gladden McCaa and was married to the love of her life, Bobby Robert Joyner. She was a longtime member of St. Andrew Church of God in Camden. After retiring from DuPont in 1990, Dollie enjoyed spending time at their family beach house. She loved camping, traveling, and above all, spending time with her family. Dollie was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother and she will be deeply missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.

In addition to her husband of 69 years, Dollie is survived by her children, Karen Joyner, Darrell Joyner (Jodi), and Lori Joyner; as well as 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3-5pm on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, December 19, 2022, at St. Andrew Church of God, Camden, officiated by Pastor Scott Hodge. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
