SC high school football games moved because of Ian

The threat of bad weather associated with Hurricane Ian is forcing high school football teams in South Carolina to adjust this week’s game schedule.

Some games across the Midlands and rest of the state already have been moved to either Wednesday or Thursday because of the weather forecast for the state Friday.

Several other schools were meeting Monday and planned to announce their plans for sports scheduling throughout the day.

The Carolinas will at least see rain and tropical storm force winds (39-74 mph) from Ian, according to the forecast.
