Obituary of Margaret Garner Morgan

Margaret “Beth” Garner Morgan, 50, passed away on Monday, October 02, 2023.Born August 17, 1973, in Kershaw County, SC, she was the daughter of Jimmy H. Garner and the late Margaret Elizabeth Brown Garner.

Mrs. Morgan obtained her master’s degree in psychology from the University of South Carolina in 2002. While in college, Mrs. Morgan was also a part of the Alpha Beta Alpha. She worked for hospice for 20 plus years where she was awarded the Starfish Award as recognition for her care and willingness to go above and beyond in her career. Mrs. Morgan also worked for G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital. She enjoyed watching true crime and doctor pimple popper, the beach, tanning, crab legs, early morning coffee with her papa and above all else spending time with her children.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Branham; son, Benjamin Alias Morgan; father, Jimmy Garner;  brother, Timothy Noah Garner; and fur-baby Spencer.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
