Obituary

Anderson – James Richard “Bubba” McClellan, Jr., 55, husband of Rhonda Faye Looney McClellan, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022.

Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late James Richard McClellan, Sr., and Barbara Jean Hudson McClellan. He retired from Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital and worked at the Jockey Lot for forty-one years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, James Michael McClellan (Taylor Davis) of Easley, and daughter, Brittani Michelle McClellan of the home; sister, Shirley Suggs (Denver) of Pelzer; grandchildren, Hannah Smith and Haylie McClellan of the home; nephew, Lee McClellan; niece, Vanessa Wright, and numerous other nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister, Janie McClellan McChesney.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 1, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Gray Mortuary.  A graveside service will follow at 4:00 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
