CAMDEN- A funeral service for Sammie Louis Cooke, 86, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Parker Baptist Church Cemetery.

    Mr. Cooke passed away Monday, October 30, 2023. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Willie Heath Cooke and Laura Drakeford Cooke. Mr. Cooke retired from DuPont.

    In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Drakeford Community Center/Park, at P. O. Box 1682, Camden, South Carolina 29021.
