Born in Pontiac, she was a daughter of Mrs. Evetta Jacobs and the late Earl J. Jacobs. She was a member of Spears Creek Baptist Church were she was in the adult Sunday school class. She was a graduate of Dentsville High School and was a former civil service employee at Fort Jackson.

Survivors are her mother of Pontiac; sisters, Mrs. Melvin (Earline) LeGrand of Pontiac, Mrs. James (Annette) J. Barton of Ridgeway; a brother, M. Otto Jacobs of Pontiac; and nieces and nephews.

Plans will be announced by Talbert-Shives Funeral Home.

Born in Pontiac, she was a daughter of Mrs. Evetta Jacobs and the late Earl J. Jacobs.

She was a graduate of Dentsville High School and a member of Spears Creek Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. Mrs. Jacobs was a former civil service employee at Fort Jackson.

Surviving are her mother of Pontiac; sisters, Mrs. Melvin (Earline) LeGrand of Pontiac, Mrs. James (Annette J) Barton of Ridgeway; a brother, M. Otto Jacobs of Pontiac; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Spears Creek Baptist Church, Conducted by the Rev. Garland Henderson.

Pallbearers will be J. L., Gerald, Wayne and Swayzie LeGrand and Ricky and Toby Jacobs.

The family will receive friends from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. today at Talbert-Shives Funeral Home.
