Miss Eloise Jacobs was chosen the “best citizen” in the Monroe Junior American Citizens’ club of Pontiac school in a recent election at the school.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jacobs (Evetta Jacobs) of Pontiac. May 1 she will receive a good citizenship medal from Columbia chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution.

The next meeting of the club will be held Friday.
