Funeral services for Mrs. Roy Hornsby will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. in Spears Creek Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Ron Lynch and the Rev. Luford O. Pope. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Jordan, Ronnie Jordan, Mike Grigsby, Calvin Grigsby, Sonny Ariail and Joe T. Youngblood, Jr.

Mrs. Hornsby, 67, of Pontiac, the former Lillie Medlin, died yesterday at Richland Memorial Hospital.

Born in Richland County, she was a daughter of the late Cleveland and Florence Jacobs Medlin. She was a member of Spears Creek Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.

She was a retired civil service employee at Fort Jackson.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wyona Meinhardt of Mount Vernon, Ala., and Mrs. Edith Ariail of Columbia; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Bullock of Bessemer, Ala.; a brother, Bert Medlin of Gary, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Spears Creek Baptist Church.

Friends may call at the residence and at the Talbert-Shives Funeral Home.

Born in Richland County, she was a daughter of the late Cleveland and Florence Jacobs Medlin. She was a member of Spears Creek Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class and a retired civil service employee at Fort Jackson.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wyona Meinhardt of Mount Vernon, Ala., and Mrs. Edith Ariail of Columbia; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Bullock of Bessemer, Ala.; a brother, Bert Medlin of Gary, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Plans will be announced by Talbert-Shives Funeral Home.
