Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas Jacobs of Lexington announce the engagement of their daughter, Toni Powers Jacobs and Brandon David Goff, both of Irmo. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Byron Goff of Camden and Mrs. Bonnie Inabinet of Elgin.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Pauline Powers Thompson and the lat Mr. Will Lesene Thompson, and the Mr. and Mrs. Horace Tillman Jacobs (Clara Mae Jacobs), all of Columbia. She earned a B. S. in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina and is the currently the Club Director of Ladies Choice Fitness Center in Columbia.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Malcolm Inabinet of Orangeburg and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Otis Goff (Evelyn Pearl Goff) of Elgin. He will graduate in May from the J. D./M.B.A program at the University of South Carolina School of Law and Moore School of Business.

The wedding is planned for August 20, 2005, at First Baptist Church of West Columbia.
