The congregation of the Crescent Hill Baptist church held a surprise Christmas party last night at the church. In honor of the pastor, the Rev. Harry E. Alban, Mrs. Alban and family.

Scores of presents were arranged around a brightly lighted Christmas tree at the front of the church.

The affair was planned by the women of the church, headed by Mrs. John W. Smith of Kawana road, and those present to serve refreshments included Mrs. Smith, Mrs. I. D. Redmon, Mrs. Horace T. Jacobs, Mrs. E. E. Bowen and Mrs. W. C. Goodwin.
