A program on preparing low cholesterol foods will be presented at Lexington County Hospital Tuesday at 7 p.m. The program is being sponsored by the hospital and the Clemson Extension Service. Other programs in the series will include low sodium cooking on Sept. 18 and low calorie cooking Sept. 25. The programs are not just for people with health problems. The Central Chapter of the S. C. Certified Public Accountants Auxiliary will hold its 10th anniversary meeting at the Palmetto Club on Wednesday. Registration will begin at 11 a.m., the meeting begins at 11:15 a.m. and lunch will be served at 12:15 p.m. Rusty Bass, CPA of Columbia, will be the features speaker with the topic, “Family Finances.” The Senior Fashion Board of Richland and Lexington Counties will provide informal modeling, sponsored by White’s.
The University of South Carolina Chapter, Daughters (Cont. On 7-A)
of the American Revolution, will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the McKissick Museums Building with the regent, Mrs. Horace T. Jacobs, presiding. H. Ray Ham, an attorney with the firm of Ham and Richardson, will speak on “The Living Constitution” in observance of Constitution Week.
The Eliza Lucus Chapter of the Daughters of the American Colonists will meet Wednesday at the Wester Steer Restaurant, Cayce. This organization is open to women ages 18 to 36 who have an ancestor who rendered civil or military service in any of the American Colonies prior to July 4, 1776.
