Michael Paul Ignatowicz, 71, passed away on Monday, July 01, 2024. Born in Kankakee, IL on October 13, 1952, he was the son of Florence Beatrice Reniche Ignatowicz and the late Raymond Paul Ignatowicz. Mr. Ignatowicz moved from Illinois to South Carolina in 1986, where he resided for the remainder of his life. Mike was a supervisor of Logistics at A.O. Smith, where he worked for thirty-one years. After leaving A.O Smith, Mr. Ignatowicz obtained an associate’s degree in accounting from Central Carolina in 2008. He then went on to work for, Jackson Hewitt, and VSBO before retiring in 2019. His second love was golf. He was an accomplished golfer and a dedicated member of the Greenhill Golf Course in Lugoff, SC.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 37 years, Marilyn Sue Lawrence Ignatowicz; stepsons, Patrick Funk (Jaime) and Brandon Funk (Katherine); brother, Steven Ignatowicz; sister, Nancy Ignatowicz; step-grandchildren, Carver Funk, Beckett Funk, Lincoln Funk, Sebastian Funk, and Madelyn Funk; and lifelong friend, Harold Outten (Rachel).
