ELGIN – Graveside service for Bryan Wayne Walling, Sr., 58, will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

Mr. Walling passed away at MUSC Charleston on Monday, July 8, 2024.  Born in Kingsport, Tenn., he was the son of the late Ellie Thomas and Eva Freeman Walling.  He served in the United Stats Army and the United States Navy.  He enjoyed reading and constructing model ships.

Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Mary Carmichael Walling; and children, Kelly Walling of Gaston, Jennifer Walling of Gaston, and Joseph Walling of Elgin.  He was predeceased by a son, Bryan W. Walling, Jr.; and brother, Eric Walling.
