Memorial services for Barbara Martin, 84, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel.  Pastor Bruce Marthers will officiate.  Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God, 1518 Jefferson Davis Highway, Camden, SC 29020.

Barbara Walck Martin passed away on July 13, 2024.  She was born in Peoria, IL, the daughter of the late William Walck and Olive Davis Thome.  She was the widow of Forrest Glenn Martin.  Barbara was a retired certified nursing assistant at Dowdy-Gardner Hospital and a member of the First Assembly of God in Camden.  She loved her family and was an avid flea marketer.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Lisa Sumner, Teresa Graham, Lois Martin (Norma), Kim Jordan (Jeff), Sarena Goff (Cliff), Paulette Becerra; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and brother, Raymond Walck.

Other than her parents and her husband, Barbara was predeceased by brothers, Jerry Walck and Bill Walck.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
