DEVELOP KAOLIN BEDS

Clay Company Installs Plant at Blaney.

Development of kaolin beds at Horrell Hill and Blaney by the Southern Clay compnay include the recent installation of a $50,000 plant for the preparation of kaolin products. The daily output will be from 75 to 100 tons of refined and crude kaolin and from 15 to 25 tons of fuller’s earth. The offices of the company are in Sumter and has an organized capital of $75,000. A. C. Phelps is president Maynard & Simmons of Atlanta are the architects and engineers.
