Camden, Aug 26 – Afters several months’ illness, Mrs. Mary Lang, wife of Mr. Logan Lang of Lakewood, passed away on Saturday. The funeral took place Monday morning from the Episcopal church whose (illegible), the Rev. W. R. Gordon, officiated. Messrs. Edward M Boykin, Leslie Zemp, D. C. Zemp, A. D. Kennedy, B P Watkins and James Wallace acted as pallbearers.
Mrs. Lang, who was a native of Stateburg, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James J Frierson, had ever since she first came to Camden been a faithful member of Grace church, and for years, not withstanding her declining health, sang in its choir. She leaves a large circle of relatives and many warm friends who mourn her loss.
