A Celebration of Life Visitation for Kenneth Carlson, 78, will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel.  Memorials may be made to Fostering Foster, 1718 Kennedy Dr., Camden, SC 29020, or Wounded Warriors at woundedwarriorproject.org.

Kenneth Robert Carlson passed away on August 11, 2024.  He was born in Chicago, IL to the late Emil Walter and Irene Zylstra Carlson.  He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Kenneth then was employed by Praxair as an Industrial engineer.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 37 years, Nancy Burrows Carlson; daughter, Stacey Carlson Sweat (Joe), of Syracuse, NY; sons, John Milton Moody (Adrienne) of Waxhaw, NC and Eric Ryan Carlson, of Camden, SC; grandchildren, Olivia and Charlotte Moody; brothers, Richard Carlson (Amy), of Monroe, LA; Robert Carlson (Kayla), of Gadsden, AL and longtime friend, Robbie Stephens (Sharon), of Gadsden, AL.
