Obituary of Lola Mae Kirton

RIDGEWAY – Funeral service for Lola Mae Kirton, 85, will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 3pm – 4pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kirton, wife of the late Charlie Kirton, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024.  Born in Blaney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Glen McKay and Kathleen Walker McKay. She loved animals and flowers and enjoyed doing yard work.

Surviving is her daughter, Joann Wilson; grandchildren, Joanna Wilson and Danny Wilson (Heather Stork); 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eunice Fisher and Louise Lee. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Ronald D. Wallace, and several siblings.
