Obituary of Jessie Williams

Bethune – Mr. Jessie Williams, 78, passed away at MUSC Florence on Sunday, September 8, 2024.  Born in Bethune, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Lehana Kelley Williams.  He enjoyed being outdoors cutting wood, fishing, farming and was a good carpenter.  He was an avid wrestling and boxing fan.

Surviving are his daughter, Tiffany Woodall of Bethune; son, Corey Woodall (Danielle Robinson-Woodall) of Bethune; sisters, Janice Lee and Vergie Clark; brother, Stanley Williams;  grandchildren, Dmitri Robinson, Daundre Robinson, Danajah Robinson, Dezire Robinson, and Dorian Robinson; and  great-grandchild, Dior Robinson-White.  He was predeceased by sisters, Joyce Smith and Evelyn Williams; and brothers, Elijah Williams, Henry Williams, George Williams, and Hubert Williams.
