Nancy Knight Lowery, age 78 of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Friday evening, January 3, 2025, at MUSC Columbia Medical Center, Columbia, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was a daughter of the late William Clyburn Knight and Catherine Branch Knight. She was a homemaker and a member of Refuge Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Lowery is survived by 2 children, Teresa Sims and her husband, James of Kershaw, S.C. and Michael W. Lowery, Sr. and his wife, Della of Kershaw, S.C.; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Alan Knight and his wife, Dot of Lancaster, S.C. and Billy Knight and his wife, Linda of Waxhaw, N.C. and a sister, Peggy Milam and her husband, Dale of Chesterfield, S.C. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Curtis Lowery; her son, Thomas F. “Tommy” Lowery; a brother, John Knight and a sister, Jean K. Lowery.

A private burial will be held in Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery, Kershaw, S.C.
