Donald Edward “Duck” Brown Obituary

Donald Edward Brown, 63, departed this life on January 7, 2025. He was the son of the late Robert Lee, Sr. and Mattie Lee Brown.

Donald was educated in the Buffalo Public School System. He spent his work career at Damien College and worked at the University of Buffalo for over 25 years.

Left to treasure his memories are his siblings, Robert Lee Brown, Jr., of Heath Springs, SC, Gretta Brown of Wellsville, NY, Dorothy Brown of Silver Spring, MD, Lorenzo J. Brown of Wellsville, NY, and Joann Gaither of Heath Springs, SC; three Goddaughters, Ebony, Razia, and Aisha; three uncles, Willie Brown of Heath Springs, SC, Johnny E. Brown (Ruby) of Covington, GA, and Johnny Stover of Camden, SC; four aunts, Ruth Spigner (Willie) of Buffalo, NY, Mildred Cunningham, of Lancaster, SC, Idell Ross (John), of Heath Springs, SC, and Novella Mingo-Anthony of Lancaster, SC, a host of nephews, Reynardo, Lorenzo, Carmen, Richard, Treyvon, Malachi, and Jeremiah; nieces, Mattie and Angelina; great nephews and great nieces, cousins, and friends.

The Funeral Service will be at Stewart Funeral at noon on Saturday, January 18, 2025, with burial in the Cedar Rock Baptist Church.

The Viewing will be 2:00 pm -5:00 pm, Friday, January 17, 2025, at Stewart Funeral Home.
